Step 1: Get in Touch
Fill out our contact form or call us, and we'll be in touch within one business day. We'll schedule a consultation & you'll have an opportunity to upload photos of your site.
Step 2: Schedule Your Introduction Call
This 15-30 minute Introduction Call is where we both decide if Nathan Wright Landscape Design is the right fit for your project. If so, we can give you a rough idea of what to expect next.
Step 3: Discovery Call with Nathan Wright
During your Discovery Call with Nathan Wright, he'll help you align your intentions with your budget to determine what's possible. By the end of this one-hour conversation, you'll receive a design proposal along with the 3-Step Design Process, timeline, and design fee.
Design fees range from $1,600 to $6,000 and can be paid through our Client Portal. Once your design fee has been paid our team will schedule your Site Visit.
Step 4: On-Site Visit
After paying your design fee, we will set up your Houzz ideabook and ask you to start contributing inspiration so we begin to understand your landscaping preferences.
We will schedule an on-site visit to collect information and plan the project setup. During the site assessment, we'll take measurements, photos, and inventory the plants and features you want to keep. You do not have to be home for this visit, but you are welcome to join us if you are able to.
Step 5: Preliminary Design Plan Presentation
You'll receive your plant palette, design plans, and landscape layout that outline the look and feel of your new outdoor space, along with a preliminary budget for the proposed work. We will complete this Preliminary Design Review Meeting via Zoom, and you'll schedule a date for the Design Approval and Agreement Signing.
Step 6: Design Approval + Agreement Signing
During this meeting we will review any design changes and focus the scope of the work according to your feedback. We'll introduce our construction team so you are familiar with their roles and responsibilities. Our team will present the Phase 1 Installation Proposal, which includes the cost of the anticipated work. With your 50% installation deposit and design approval, we'll move ahead and schedule construction.
Step 7: Installation Preparation
We manage all the details, from sourcing and permits to scheduling and site preparation. When installation begins, you can rely on our highly-skilled team to oversee the job site and monitor the construction process to ensure each design detail is being implemented. You'll receive daily communications from your dedicated Project Manager, and if the project is longer than five days, you'll also receive a midway project report.
Step 8: Final Walkthrough + Ongoing Maintenance
When construction is complete, you'll walk through your new landscape with your Landscape Designer and Project Manager to ensure it all meets your standards and expectations. We'll explain how it all came together, why we used the plants and materials we did, and what it means for your lifestyle. We'll collect your final payment and review the ongoing maintenance needs to keep your new landscape at its best.
